Estimated opening of waitlist is Summer 2023.

Hi, I'm Coryanna. Nice to meet you!

Coryanna Ku, MA, LPC, NCC
I am a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor. I offer individual, relationship, and family counseling.
My vision is to always create a safe and therapeutic space for those in my community.
I endeavor to remain aware of the inequalities that exist for Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC), womxn, queer/trans/non-binary individuals, disabled persons, immunocompromised individuals, and older adults. I practice from a Feminist, Mulitcultural, and socially conscious approach, with an understanding that each client will have their own unique therapeutic needs.
My mission is to provide therapy with an integrative approach, considering the whole person, their strengths, emotional supports, spirituality, and community resources to aid in reaching their treatment goals.
**It is important to note that I am only available to you during your scheduled appointments. I do not provide "on call" services. Counseling is only provided through scheduled appointments, and never through email or texts.**
Am I a good fit for you?
Each client has their own unique needs and expectations of their therapist, and of therapy, to thrive within the treatment being provided.
So, too, does each therapist have of their clients, and of the therapy they provide, to thrive within the profession and to avoid compassion-fatigue and burnout.
Please take the time to reflect on the following questions to see if I am a good fit for you:
-
Do you understand that I do not provide crisis counseling and that I am only available for counseling during the time we have scheduled?
-
Can you intend to consistently attend your scheduled appointments?
-
Do you have an identified goal you hope to accomplish with the assistance of therapy?
-
Do you believe you are more than your mental health symptoms and any diagnosis previously received by a mental health or medical professional?
-
Are you willing to work on your goal outside of therapy?
-
Are you open to gentle accountability?
-
Do you understand that therapy is solely for the treatment of mental health symptoms?
If you answered "yes" to all of the above, then we're a good fit!

Late-CAncel/Missed appointment Fee
$200, or sliding scale rate - To be paid out of pocket as health insurance does not cover this fee. Please read below.
CANCELATION/MISSED APPOINTMENT POLICY
Notice of cancelation must be received 24 hours before appointment start time. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify me as soon as possible. If there is 24 hours notice, you will not be charged. Less than 24 hours notice incurs a full session cancellation fee ($200 or your sliding scale rate). Therapists cannot bill health insurance for a service that could not be provided, and health insurance policies do not cover late cancellation or missed appointment fees. Thank you for respecting this clinical boundary as my professional time for your session has been set aside specifically for you.
